Zycraft USV was featured in Claire Apthorp's article "Naval Unmanned."

In March 2015, the Singaporean company Zycraft USV announced that it had teamed with Netherlands-based Microflown Maritime to integrate the latter's gunshot detection system, called the Boat Acoustic Multi-Mission Sensor (B-AMMS), into its inhabited Shomari LRV-17 counter-piracy escort vessel in order to give the Shomari LRV-17's early warning capabilities against pirate gunfire in noisy marine environments.
